Overview
Dabble is building something different in iGaming, and we need the right person to lead it.
As General Manager (GM) of iGaming, you'll own the strategy, studio, commercial performance, and product direction of Dabble's in-app iGaming experience from the ground up. This is a genuine greenfield opportunity to define what Dabble's iGaming offering looks like globally, how it's differentiated, and how it grows.
The initial focus is establishing a world-class game portfolio that starts with Dabble's original games supported by third-party games across slots, crash games and live dealer.
If you're a deep iGaming operator who's hungry to build something from scratch and has the commercial instincts to back it up, this is your role.
Primary Location
This role is currently open to candidates based in Leeds and surrounds, though other locations in the United Kingdom may be considered.
Responsibilities
Define and own Dabble's iGaming strategy: setting the roadmap, sequencing the portfolio, and making the commercial calls that shape what we build and when
Drive revenue, engagement, and retention across the iGaming vertical: owning game portfolio composition, promotional strategy, and player lifecycle
Own and expand our supplier ecosystem: negotiating the deals and managing the relationships that align with our strategic objectives
Partner with internal and external technology teams to integrate iGaming seamlessly into the Dabble platform and continuously improve the customer experience, including lobby, game discovery, game design and player journeys
Effectively use data to continuously optimise game performance, promotional effectiveness, and player experience based on what the numbers are telling you
Ensure full compliance and safety: partnering with compliance teams to meet regulatory and licensing obligations across jurisdictions and embedding safer gambling into everything we do
Build the team as iGaming scales: commercial, curious, and creative
Oversee Dabble's Game Studio: build, expand and constantly improve Dabble's portfolio of it's own differentiated games
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
Deep iGaming or online casino experience - you know how the industry works commercially, operationally, and from the player's seat
Genuine expertise in the UK iGaming market including player behaviour, regulatory landscape, and how the best operators compete
Hands-on experience with third-party game providers and aggregators
Sharp commercial instincts which means you understand margin, acquisition economics, and how to build a profitable iGaming vertical, not just a great game library
Proven ability to work with product and engineering teams to deliver seamless digital experiences - with a focus on the customer
Regulatory and compliance literacy across licensed iGaming markets - you know the rules and you play by them
Highly Regarded
Experience at a challenger or scale-up - someone who's built something, taken a risk, and come out the other side with the scars to prove it
Exposure to crash games, social gaming, or emerging real money formats
An understanding of how iGaming sits inside a sports-first product and how to make it feel native, not bolted on
Are you a Dabbler?
A Dabbler’s attitude is paramount, as the right person will be able to learn quickly and adapt to any skill gaps. A Dabbler is always a team player, with a willingness to share with and learn from others. Being a remote-first workplace, collaborative working styles are crucial to empower and grow each individual member (eg we prefer openness via public channels to problem solve or ideate on Slack).
A Dabbler uses their freedom of autonomy to its absolute potential and enjoys contributing to the Dabble community. We hold respect for our peers very highly – there is no such thing as a bad idea. We encourage you to think differently, be brave and strive to always raise the bar. Dabble was born out of thought sharing and should tackle growth in the same way. Dabble embraces empowerment of all people at any level of seniority and experience to ‘own their work’ and ‘talk their book’ wherever they can.
A fulfilling life extends beyond work, and we encourage our employees to prioritise self-care and well-being. This means taking breaks when needed, setting boundaries, and seeking support when facing challenges. We are committed to creating a safe environment where individuals feel comfortable discussing their wellbeing and accessing resources when necessary.
